OUR STORY

Sometimes the greatest possibilities grow from the most difficult places.

My love for Africa began after a mission trip with my church in 2002.  I fell in love with the people, the culture, and especially the children .  What began with that first trip became a lasting connection to Zambia and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families there.

 In 2013, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when my nephew, Lee, was murdered.  In the midst of our grief, we began searching for a way to honor his life by creating something positive - something that could bring hope and opportunity to others.

That simple idea grew into Possibilities Abound, Inc.

With the support of family, friends, and people who believed in the vision, we began our first project:  helping create a preschool in Zambia.  What started as one family's response to loss has grown into an ongoing commitment to children and communities where even a small opportunity can change the course of a life.

Today, Possibilities Abound works alongside our partners in Zambia to help provide children with opportunities to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.  Through education, nutrition, and community support, our goal is not simply to meet the needs for today, but to help create possibilities for tomorrow.

Our story began with love, was shaped by loss, and continues through hope.

And we believe the greatest possibilities are still ahead.
